Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), UET Lahore invites applications from Punjab domiciled Pakistanis for contractual positions at UET Main Campus. Positions Breakdown: 1. Research Associate (NCCS Project - 01 Post): BS (16 years) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering, or related HEC-recognized field. 3 years of relevant experience preferred in Cyber Security (Cyber Security, Network Security, Digital Forensics, or Malware Analysis). Familiarity with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Python/C/C++, and good technical writing/communication skills. 2. Research Assistant (NCCS Project - 01 Post): BS (16 years) in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong FYP in Cyber Security may also apply. Familiarity with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Python/C/C++. 3. Research Assistant (IoT Lab Project - 01 Post): BS (16 years) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 1 year of relevant experience; FYP in IoT encouraged. Specialization in IoT, Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks, or IoT Security. Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, MQTT, CoAP, and programming in Python/C/Embedded C. 4. Software Engineer (ESSL Project - 03 Posts): Minimum BS in Computer Science / BSIT with Python and Odoo expertise, and 1 year of experience. 5. Research Officer (CLE Project - 01 Post): Minimum BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field with strong skills in Programming, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. 6. Network Administrator (IT Project - 01 Post): Minimum BS in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in network administration. Strong skills in LAN/WLAN, switches, firewalls, Windows/Linux, and network security.
