Directorate General (Wildlife & Parks), Government of the Punjab invites applications from suitable candidates having Punjab domicile to fill project positions under the development project 'Punjab Wildlife Census (Phase-II) From Baseline to Action' purely on a contract basis for the gestation period of the project. Positions & Eligibility Criteria: 1. Senior Ecologist (PPS-08, 01 Post, Max Age: 45 Years): MPhil / MS degree (18 years education) in ecology, environmental sciences or a related field with a minimum experience of 7-10 years in habitat assessment or ecological census / surveys OR Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Ecology, Zoology, Environmental sciences, Wildlife Management or a related field. 2. Senior Biodiversity Specialist (PPS-08, 01 Post, Max Age: 45 Years): MPhil / MS degree (18 years education) in Zoology, Wildlife Management, Biodiversity Conservation, ecology or a related field with a minimum experience of 7-10 years in Biodiversity research or conservation projects OR Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Zoology, Wildlife Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Ecology or a related field. 3. Senior Conservation Biologist (PPS-08, 02 Posts, Max Age: 35 Years): MSc Zoology (1st Division) or BS (Hons) Zoology with CGPA 3.5 or above, with two years' experience in the field of wildlife or biodiversity or conservation or monitoring under Government projects of international importance in Grade BPS-17 or PPS-7. Hand-submitted applications will not be accepted. ii. The positions are Lahore based, but services may be utilized on an all-Punjab basis. Positions are contract-based till the gestation period of the project, extendable subject to performance. iii. Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC. iv. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview via Letter/SMS/Call. No TA/DA is admissible. Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
