Federal Board of Revenue FBR Hiring of Advocates 2026

Revenue Division, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) invites applications from advocates for appointment on the Panel of Advocates (Service Law) for FBR (HQs) Islamabad and its field formations across Pakistan to handle litigation relating to service matters before the Federal Service Tribunal (FST), High Courts, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Federal Constitutional Court, and other judicial/quasi-judicial fora. Description of Work: Provide legal opinions on service law, employment matters, disciplinary proceedings, promotions, seniority, pension, and constitutional law; appear before courts/tribunals; prepare comments, replies, appeals, and petitions; conduct and monitor litigation; convey court orders/judgments; submit case progress reports; assist in litigation strategy. Qualification & Eligibility: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M; foreign degrees require HEC equivalence). Enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate High Court / Supreme Court. At least 03 years' practice/experience as an Advocate High Court / Supreme Court in service law, constitutional law, administrative law, or related litigation. Preference will be given to advocates having experience of appearing before FST, High Courts, Supreme Court, or Federal Constitutional Court in service matters. Advocates already on FBR Panel for tax matters must submit fresh applications for Service Law Panel. Original documents required at interview. No TA/DA. Remuneration paid on a case-to-case basis as per FBR's approved professional fee structure.
