Government Special Education Department Chiniot Jobs 2026

In pursuance of Notification No. SO(Estt)3-26/07(3859) dated 25-03-2026 issued by the Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department, applications are invited for hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against 06 vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of District Chiniot. Academic qualifications required: For JSET (H.I, M.C, P.D) BS-16, M.A or BS (2nd division or grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in the respective field (Deaf, Mentally Challenged, Physically Disabled) from an HEC recognized university; For JSET (V.I) BS-16, M.A or BS in Special Education (specialization in Blind) and Certificate of proficiency in Braille issued by Directorate General of Special Education Punjab; For Speech Therapist BS-17, M.A or BS in Special Education with 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, OR BS/B.Sc (Hons.) in Speech and Language Therapy/Pathology. Fresh candidates are encouraged, though experience is preferred. Age limit is 21 to 28 years (age relaxation permissible per rules). Monthly Honorarium: Rs. 45,000/- PM for BS-17 and Rs. 40,000/- PM for BS-16. Engagement is purely temporary, school-specific, non-transferable, for 09 months during FY 2026-27 or until regular incumbents arrive.
