Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984, licensed to distribute and supply electricity to 7.28 million consumers with more than 19,000 employees within Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana districts, invites applications from eligible candidates through M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) for contract-based positions on lump sum pay package with six months probation period. Assistant Manager (Communication/Network) equivalent to BPS-17 requires sixteen years education or Master's degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 60% marks from HEC recognized university. Age limit up to 35 years. One post for Punjab Open Merit. Network Support Engineer equivalent to BPS-16 requires sixteen years education or Master's degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications or related discipline with at least 60% marks from HEC recognized university. Age limit up to 33 years. One post for Punjab Open Merit. Appointments shall be purely on open contract with six months probation and market-based lump sum package, non-pensionable and not convertible into permanent positions later. OTS will charge 50% fee from applicants and remaining 50% will be paid by LESCO. Each applicant will pay Rs.80 to testing agency. Only candidates with completed degrees are eligible. CGPA will be evaluated according to HEC standard chart. Government, semi-government, autonomous bodies and SOEs employees should apply through proper channel. Quotas will be observed according to rules. Candidates having job-specific certifications and relevant experience with LESCO will get preference. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post. Minimum passing marks in written test will be 50%. Only qualified candidates meeting eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in written test/interview. Merit list will be displayed on OTS website. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere under LESCO jurisdiction. LESCO reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or cancel recruitment at any stage. Dismissed employees or persons with criminal record are not eligible. Character and antecedent verification will be conducted through police and relevant agencies. Fake documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification and recovery of salary paid. Complaints will be resolved at OTS level. No TA/DA will be paid for written test/interview. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Candidates should carefully fill online application form available at OTS website www.ots.org.pk.
