Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies (CEGS), Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (BPS-19) in Gender/Women Studies and related disciplines. Total number of posts are 2. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institute. Government, semi-government, autonomous bodies and corporation employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from employer. Applicants are required to submit five copies of the application/dossier duly signed and bound along with soft copy in PDF format on prescribed proforma and attested documents including degrees/certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile and three recent photographs with a Pay Order, Bank Draft or Paid Challan of Rs.2000/- in favor of Director, Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. Only HBL QAU branch account number 02940012957103 is acceptable for challan submission. Pakistani nationals applying from abroad may submit applications with US $100 as processing fee. Applications must reach the office of the Director, Gender Studies within 30 days of publication of advertisement. External candidates will not receive pension, however contributory pension scheme will be available according to revised Federal Government policy. Selected candidates will be governed by Centre service statutes, rules and regulations. The Centre reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions, withhold appointments, not fill any advertised post or reject applications without assigning reason.
