Applications are invited for contractual positions under the NRPU-funded HEC project No. 169279-131 titled 'Integrated monitoring and remediation of wastewater through pollution load analysis, stable isotope tracing, and nanoparticle-based treatment'. Appointments are initially for a period of one year, with possibility of extension up to two years subject to satisfactory performance and availability of project funds. Positions and eligibility criteria are: 1. PhD (Chemistry) Student [01 Post]: Must have secured admission to a PhD programme in Chemistry at an HEC-recognized public-sector university. Preference given to candidates with research experience in nanomaterial synthesis, stable isotope tracing, wastewater sampling, pollution-load analysis, and wastewater remediation. Stipend as per HEC policy. 2. MS Student [01 Post]: Must have secured admission to an MS programme in Chemistry at an HEC-recognized public-sector university. Preference given to candidates with knowledge and practical experience in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, wastewater sampling, and wastewater analysis. Stipend as per HEC policy. 3. Accountant [01 Post]: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (e.g., B.Com, BBA) or equivalent. Experience in managing accounts, financial records, and record-keeping in a public-sector university, research project, or government-funded project is preferred. Working hours will be flexible (approx. 3-4 hours per day or as mutually agreed). Pay as per HEC policy. Positions are based at the Division of Science and Technology, University of Education Lahore.
