University of Sargodha Research Assistant Jobs 2026

University of Sargodha, Department of Biotechnology invites applications for the hiring of Research Assistant under HEC-NRPU Project No. 142969-28. The HEC-approved NRPU project is titled 'Pharmacogenetic analysis of drug metabolizing enzymes for their effect on the efficacy of antihypertensive drugs' supervised by Dr. Misbah Hussain (Principal Investigator) at the Department of Biotechnology, University of Sargodha. The position is project-based with remuneration of Rs.100,000 per month and initially for one year extendable to two years. Eligibility criteria include Master's degree or above in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related discipline from an HEC recognized university in Pakistan or abroad. Strong report writing and data handling skills are required. Experience of human sample collection, research team management and digital skills will be preferred.
