Baba Guru Nanak University Nankana Sahib invites applications for various teaching (Associate Professor BS-20, Assistant Professor BS-19, Lecturer BS-18) and non-teaching positions on regular and 2-year extendable contract bases under Advertisement No. 1-2026. Teaching positions require PhD or MS/M.Phil degrees in relevant fields from HEC recognized universities along with required teaching/research experience and publications as per HEC/PEC criteria (applicants with a third division in academic career are ineligible unless holding a PhD in the relevant field with no more than one third division). Non-teaching positions require relevant qualifications ranging from LLM/LLB, Master's, BS, Intermediate, Secondary School Certificate to Literate, along with specified age limits and experience. Non-teaching positions are restricted to Punjab domicile holders. Candidates must apply online through the university jobs portal (jobs.bgnu.edu.pk) and pay the non-refundable processing fee via 1Link bank branches, mobile banking, or ATMs using a 1Link-generated fee voucher before the closing date of August 26, 2026 (Wednesday). Application fees are: Rs. 4,000 for BS-20, Rs. 3,000 for BS-19, Rs. 2,000 for BS-17 and BS-18, and Rs. 500 for BS-01 to BS-16 (no fee for BS-01 to BS-04 contract posts). Hard copies of signed online application form, paid fee voucher, photographs, attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational certificates, transcripts, experience certificates, and 01 soft copy (for Associate Professor applicants) must reach the Office of the Registrar, Baba Guru Nanak University, Nankana Sahib by August 28, 2026 (Friday) via courier. Public sector employees must apply through proper channel with NOC. No TA/DA will be paid.
